FAQ
Penetration Testing FAQ
Answers to what we hear most before an engagement starts.
Where is Invadel located?
Invadel is headquartered in New York City, serving clients across New York and nationwide.
What penetration testing services do you offer?
We provide web application, API, cloud, network, mobile, and hardware penetration testing, along with red teaming, phishing simulation, source code review, and vulnerability scanning.
Do you help with compliance?
Yes. We support SOC 2 and PCI DSS through readiness assessments, the required penetration testing, and reports built for vendor and customer security reviews.
Do you retest after we fix findings?
Yes. A complimentary retest of remediated findings is included with our penetration testing engagements to verify fixes.
What methodology do you follow?
Every engagement follows the Penetration Testing Execution Standard (PTES) and relevant OWASP testing guides, from scoping through reporting and retest.
Can I see a sample report before I scope an engagement?
Yes. Request a sample report and we will send over a redacted example so you know exactly what you are getting.
How much does a penetration test cost?
Cost depends on scope: the size of your environment, the type of testing, and the timeline. We provide a fixed-cost proposal after a short scoping call rather than a per-hour estimate.
Still have questions?
Tell us what you need tested and we'll answer directly on a scoping call.
